The Nursing Student Association (HMIK) Faculty of Medicine Udayana University Organizes the Seminar and Action of Emergencies Reasoning (SAGA) 2026 General
The Nursing Student Association (HMIK) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, successfully organized the Seminar and Action of Emergencies Reasoning (SAGA) 2026 on Saturday, May 23, 2026. The event was conducted online, while the organizing committee gathered in person at Lecture Rooms 3.01 and 3.02, located on the third floor of the West Building, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
The program commenced with an opening ceremony, followed by welcoming remarks from the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. Ns. Ni Ketut Guru Prapti, S.Kep., MNS. In her remarks, she emphasized the importance of strengthening students’ knowledge and competencies in emergency care management while fostering responsiveness and social responsibility toward the community.
As part of the Day 1 agenda, participants attended an emergency care seminar delivered by distinguished speakers with extensive expertise in the field:
• Ns. I Ketut Sudiarta, S.Kep., M.Kep., FISQua, CPCC
• Ns. I Made Suindrayasa, S.Kep., M.Kep.
The seminar was conducted successfully and attracted enthusiastic participation from students. Through the sessions, participants gained valuable insights and foundational competencies in emergency care, equipping them with essential knowledge and practical skills for responding effectively to emergency situations.
Through the successful implementation of SAGA 2026 Day 1, it is expected that students will further enhance their competencies, critical thinking abilities, and preparedness in providing emergency assistance, particularly in tourism-related settings where prompt and effective emergency response is crucial.
