The Nursing Student Association (HMIK) Faculty of Medicine Udayana University Organizes Pecinta Alam VNT × Time of Nursing Euphoria (20th TONE) 2026 General
The Nursing Student Association (HMIK) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, successfully organized Pecinta Alam VNT × Time of Nursing Euphoria (20th TONE) 2026 on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Mangrove & Turtle Island Tour, Benoa, South Kuta.
The event was held as part of a series of activities commemorating the anniversary of the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program and Nursing Profession Program. The program commenced with opening remarks from the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. Ns. Ni Ketut Guru Prapti, S.Kep., MNS., who officially inaugurated the event through a ceremonial gong-striking.
The activities of Pecinta Alam VNT × 20th TONE 2026 included an educational session delivered by representatives of the mangrove conservation area, a mangrove planting activity, and a group documentation session. The event was attended by faculty members, educational staff, administrative personnel, and student representatives from the active cohorts of 2023, 2024, and 2025, with five students representing each cohort.
During the educational session, participants received information on the importance of mangrove ecosystems, their role in environmental conservation, and proper mangrove planting techniques. Following the session, participants took part in a mangrove planting activity as a tangible contribution to environmental sustainability and coastal ecosystem preservation.
Through this activity, participants were encouraged to strengthen their environmental awareness, foster a sense of social responsibility, and contribute actively to sustainable environmental conservation efforts. The event also served as a meaningful opportunity to enhance collaboration and solidarity among students, faculty members, and staff of the Nursing Study Program.
